I sold my first item this past Friday! Sure, it was to my boyfriend's mom, but it still counts. Right? It was a very exciting day for me. It was so inspiring to see a picture of her daughter Lauren holding the bag and grinning ear to ear. I've made something that somebody loved! That is the best feeling out there, I assure you.
After Friday, I'm all geared up to keep sewing! I finished up a similar bag to the one I sold and posted it this morning. I also have a new, slightly less neon tote bag almost finished and I'm working on a purse. I haven't been this excited since I first launched my shop. And I'm going to figure out a regular schedule for this whole blogging thing. I have to get that food-blogging boyfriend of mine to show me the ropes.
Also, in exciting happenings this weekend, Mike and I (the aforementioned food-blogging boyfriend) went to the Philly Punk Flea Market and I am in LOVE! We met an awesome fellow etsy-er thimbletop and purchased the most bad-ass embroidered pillow I have ever laid eyes on. I'll be making a few to match for my love seat, but this little guy is the star.
